Fence Staining

Fence Staining in Commerce & NE Georgia

Strip, clean, stain, and seal — protect your wood fence from the Georgia sun and humidity for years to come.

Fence Staining in NE Georgia

A wood fence is an investment you re-make every two or three years. Left bare, the cedar or pressure-treated pine you installed turns grey in a single Georgia summer and starts to cup and crack by year four. A proper stain job locks out moisture, blocks the UV that bleaches the grain, and adds real years to the life of the fence.

Our fence staining service covers Athens, Commerce, Jefferson, Watkinsville, and the rest of NE Georgia. Every job starts with a low-pressure wash to pull off mildew and loose old finish, a full dry day, then two coats of premium oil- or water-based stain in the tone you pick — brush-backed for full saturation, not just a sprayer pass that leaves half the wood thirsty. The result holds color, sheds water, and looks better five years in than most fences do at one.

FAQs

Questions homeowners ask us.

How often should a wood fence be stained?

In Georgia's humidity and sun, most wood fences need a refresh every 2–4 years. Oil-based stains on the longer end, water-based on the shorter.

What stain do you use?

We use premium oil- or water-based stains depending on your wood type and look. We bring real sample boards so you see the color on your fence before we start.

Can you stain a fence in the rain?

No. We need 24–48 dry hours before and after. We watch the forecast and schedule accordingly.

How much does fence staining cost per linear foot?

Typical 6' privacy fences run $2.50–$4.50 per linear foot in our area for a clean-and-stain. Stripping adds to that.
